"My grandson is cursed and my son has apparently forgot all I ever taught him about speaking proper English," he answered dryly, though he did look closely at his son.
"I would not have asked if I thought you were fine, or do you forget that I too once lived with the worry of what the Dark Lord would do to my son?" he asked. "We have got through his reign when he was strong, we will manage with him as a child."
"And we will find a way to cure Scorpius, if we have to sacrifice the others in the process it's a small price to pay." He looked at him. "Once the Muggle is dead they'll be able to examine her in ways that their morality is keeping them from now. From what I hear it can be any day now. With any luck she'll die before Scorpius even starts showing any real symptoms."
He looked at Draco. "It will work out, we mustn't believe otherwise."
