"Oh for fuck's sake-" He moved closer and kissed Patrick in an extremely non-chaste manner, nipping at his lip and grinning as he pulled back. "If your mum starts trying to set me up with you, you're in so much trouble."
"I know it's just a house, it's ridiculously big though. Who needs a house this big?" Dale asked, looking around again. "Are they secretly running a hotel?"
Dale shook his head. "It's not that I thought you wouldn't so much as I wasn't sure how you'd fund it and get it built," he said, smiling. "I never doubted your intelligence or stubbornness. I have to put up with that after every full," He looked at Patrick pointedly. "Mm-hmm but at least this will mean you won't be watching me like a hawk. You'll have to look after others too." He didn't say that he'd miss the attention a little bit. It wasn't his place to say anything.
