"And we don't get a say in the matter?" Dylan snapped. "You know you're right, I would try to do it for you but you wouldn't let me. The large difference is that I 'd discuss it with you firs thought. You'd help me think of another way and we'd solve it together."
"Scorpius and I jumped in on our own. You were the only one pushed, we coudl have left it alone or told someone or refused to come but we didn't. This was our choice, James. The only one who had no choice was Allison. That makes it her choice. Ask her if she wants you to kill yourself for her," he said, quite certain that she wouldn't want that. No one could want that when they knew James.
"Think further. We have to be able to think further, the two of us. We'll find a way - we'll bring Sirius along with us, he's fought Voldemort in the past, he knows what he's doing. We'll come up with a plan and we'll do something that doesn't result in your dying."
"If he even kills you," he said. "Have you thought about that option?" He asked. "What if he uses you like he used Allison? Sending pieces of you to your dad, saying he has to come for you? I mean it's something he likes to do, isn't it? He did it with you and Allison, and my grandparents."
"There has to be another way. A way that doesn't lead to you being dead."
