Scorpius really didn't know why Dylan didn't know this. It seemed ingrained in James' personality. "You don't know your best friend all that well," he said dryly. "I don't know what he is planning. He keeps saying that he is going to save us all, no matter what, and he thinks that he is going to die, no matter how stupid it is."
He shook his head. "I told him that he was just letting Voldemort win since this was directed at him. That doesn't seem to matter. I don't want him sacrificing himself on my account just to clear his conscience. Whatever he is planning is not an option." Scorpius was adamant about it. "Don't consider joining him either. I know how you Gryffindor's think."
