"Oh good God, no. Just because I listen to him, it doesn't mean I trust him," Regulus said. "I'd think you know me better than that." He realised that Sirius really didn't know him at all, though, because they were children the last they truly spoke. "Draco has created a chain of potions shops. There are others. I want to diversify and even if something doesn't go so well, there's still others to pick up the slack.
Regulus smiled. "You're impossible, I hope you know that. I supposed you'd be doing it anyway, with that Order thing. You might has well get paid for it and have rules to keep you safe, and you'd better follow those rules. You're not allowed to get yourself killed a second time."
He looked at Sirius horrified. "I have never and will never wear those things. I don't wear Muggle clothes, let alone, cheap clothes." He rolled his eyes. "I don't like looking like some homeless squib living in Knockturn Alley, but if I change my mind I'll let you know."
That was the problem, although Sirius couldn't see it. "I like him, yes, and there really is so much wrong with nice people that I don't know where to start. You don't even have a nice friend. They might be nice to you, but they aren't nice per se. We weren't brought up with nice. None of us were," he pointed out.
He put a privacy spell. "I think Dumbledore knows what I did, and that puts me in danger. If he says anything- Do I really want to put Jake or anyone else at risk? I mean there's you, but it's not like you won't be at risk no matter what. Once the Dark Lord finds out about the ways to stay alive and who knew how to kill him, he will hunt them down. Up until now, only Potter and his friends knew, and I might not like him, but I trust him. Dumbledore will use whatever he can to get what he wants."
