"A Muggle? The Malfoys have a Muggle staying in their house," His lips twitched into a small smile before he suppressed it, well aware that the Malfoys would likely have something listening in on conversations. He know he would if he was in their shoes. "Jesus, a Potter and Weasley infestation. Do you get a bigger grant if you cure them quicker so they can get rid of the extra house guests?"
Azriel shook his head. "I never thought you were stupid," he said. "Intelligence is a trait of your house. I often wonder why more Ravenclaws aren't ambitious but I've always known your research isn't entirely for fun."
His gaze turned slightly more intense and he smiled just before taking a sip of his whiskey. "Of course it is," he said. "It's a more fun discussion than anything else though."
"Me too," he said, realising he meant it. He hadn't spent any time with Stephen recently and worse, he'd been too busy and exhausted to even think of getting bogged down in owl exchanges. Considering how much he'd pestered Stephen at the beginning he knew he should be contacting him more. "I've been uncharacteristically busy with the flat and a new business. I want the acquisition done as soon as possible so I can get the Christmas profits."
