He grinned when Azriel mentioned the grant. Ambition was a good thing as far as he - and most Slytherins - were concerned. "I knew there had to be some part of you that was utterly Slytherin," he said. "I'm almost proud. I bet your father is."
Azriel nodded. "Which is why they brought the genius in who normally hates people?" he asked, assuming he was correct. "I'm sure Malfoys would tell me I was wrong just for the sake of it, arrogant as they can be, but yes you likely would. I wouldn't wake you up for stupid reasons such as having work to do. Maybe more pleasurable things though," he added with a secretive smile, looking up at Stephen. "I'm sure you can think of a few."
