"You're welcome," he said, though he could recognise the answer. It was what he'd have answered to the same offer and meant she'd do no such thing as take him up on it. Which was perfectly fine. He'd offered and meant it, and she knew he had meant it.
He chuckled at her comments on Mrs Malfoy, because he was sure she was right. Narcissa Malfoy was a force to be reckoned with, no matter how you looked at it. "Isn't that the truth?" he said with a smile.
He nodded when she said it was good for Scorpius that Stephen liked his Arithmancy formulas. "It is good for him. He will solve it. Voldemort will not hurt your son."
He snickered. "Yes, it certainly would be easier," he said, thinking not of Stephen but on Charlotte and her sudden like of Muggle clothes. Really, he hoped she'd outgrow that soon.
