"Remind me never to let you meet my family, then," he said with a chuckle. He looked at her and shook his head. "You look just fine, and I can use a spell if you want. It's not as nice as a shower, but you'll be clean, and you don't even have to take your clothes off."
"I'm not lying and you're safe, and yes, they aren't on this floor." He sighed. "Yeah, it's becoming the norm, although they were killing Muggles first, and before then we think they were outside the country. We don't think they are British."
He put an arm around her, and held her close. "I know it's not a bad thing, but I don't like it when they can't see the people behind their studies." He kissed her temple and then pressed his forehead against it. "I know, and I'm sorry. I'm giving them time. My uncle says that he thinks he found something and they are working on it. If they aren't successful, I'll find a way, but it's the last resort. I like to be around a little longer."
