"I never read much outside of classes," Draco admitted, "and since then when I've read there's been some personal gain in doing so, like a client's book."

He snorted at the mention of Narcissa's punishment. "That doesn't surprise me. She probably thinks it's less likely a place for the Dark Lord to show. It could be worse, you could be cleaning the stables at the Manor."
