Chris didn't know what to say to that except the girls, he assumed they were girls, were idiots. "It's honest." And it was, he could respect that, and did. "Can't ask for much more than that, I'd think."
He nodded. "I'll remember that if Jeremy gets grabby hands again. He's a bloke that dances with me sometimes. He hasn't tried anything recently but..." if he did, Chris thought, a threat of a hex might be worth considering.
"You're right. Again." He teased. "Does that ever get old? No worries, no killing. Wouldn't want you to have to arrest me. Somehow I doubt it's the same as it is in mystery novels. But it's nice to know we think the same way about that."
He took a health gulp of his drink,and felt it warm his insides. One more pull from it and he'd be done and head home to Colin.
