He pulled back and took her hands in his. "I'm not asking you to justify what you had or did. I'm sure if you got divorced, you had a good reason." He squeezed her hands gently. "I like you when you're with me, and my mum raised me in a very traditional way. I do have expectations, Tracey." He hadn't meant to say it, but they were discussing this. "I want it to be us and just us. Seeing others, open couples, that's a load of crap as far as I'm concerned. I want to be with you exclusively."
Callahan kissed her again. "He's your son. Of course, he's keeping things from you, but you have to be careful. If they've been together for years, it's more than a fleeting thing."
He snorted. "I don't know if he does or doesn't, but this is a man that created a separate group to deal with things. I don't know what he'll do."
