Astoria gasped and brought a hand to her chest. "Your mother is wrong? I'm shocked," she said, smiling. "It's all right, darling. I knew when I agree to marry you that I'd be dealing with one strong woman."
She nodded and smiled at him. Astoria hooked a hand behind his neck while holding her glass with her free hand. "As soon as Scorpius is better, we'll take a vacation together, somewhere sunny, and you can complain about getting burnt and we can swim under the moonlight."
She bit her lip, smiling. "There is that. There's also the fact that if you tell him he can't be with James, I'm pretty sure he'll tell us they are getting married. I find that it's easier to scare him by being friendly and asking him for the details. He's more afraid of sex than I am."
She turned her head, looking at the crowd, before returning her gaze to Draco. "No one is more important than us, and you can take a break for a night. You could spoil your wife and dance for her."
