Fred rolled his eyes at the familiar words and tone dropping from his mother's lips. Well, at least that hadn't changed, thank Merlin. His mother not getting mad at him for his bawdy mouth might have actually sent him 'round the bend. Then there was the offer of food and sleep and all sorts of things that he usually found appealing (save for sex).
But he couldn't leave, not just yet, because then Gin was there and she was older than him and smiling and asking questions. Apparently everyone else he could handle, because they had always been older than him, but not Ginny. She had been the baby of the family, always. Now he was, Fred supposed, which was a mind trip in and of itself.
"It's not so much a prank if I didn't have a hand in it," he said with a half grin. "And like I already said, I'd say I've missed you too, but hasn't been that long." Fred shrugged. "Nice to see you, then?"
