James had come running when he heard the noise, but stopped short when he saw the person who'd made the arrival into the Great Hall. He knew the man on sight, had seen enough pictures of him and uncle George to know, but if that weren't enough, aunt Hermione confirmed it.
When uncle Fred asked about uncle George, James stepped forward. "Hi, I'm James, and you have no idea who I am, but my mum is Ginny, your sister who will kill your arse if you hurt me, and my dad is Harry and he's the Head Auror. He won't be pleased either, but Mum is way scarier when angry." He grinned. "Sides, you don't want to hex me. Voldemort already did. So if you stop glaring at aunt Hermione, we can go somewhere more private where we don't scare the student. We can call uncle George, too. Merlin, he got so boring with age, so it's really good that you're back."
He gave uncle Fred is best smile, hoping to offset his Aurors robe. "Come on, let's go outside, and I'll answer all of your question, after we owl uncle George and grandma, because she'll kill me if she finds out that I didn't tell her."
