"I survived," Minerva murmured, enjoying the cuddling at the door. She hugged Atlas, missing the smell of him and the feel of him all warm and firm in her arms.
She let him lead her over to the sofa and kicked her shoes off. Minerva plunked her feet onto Atlas' lap without word, expecting him to start worshiping her feet as he promised.
When he started on one foot, she moaned out loud and made Octavius bark. She giggled. "Sorry boy. I'll be quieter."
Minerva grinned at Atlas, then as soon as she relaxed more she got more serious.
