"No, he's right," Dylan said, blushing at the pride but feeling all the same that it was somewhat undeserved. "Ha- Mr Potter would have saved you, he just would have had the sense to check for unknown curses before going in," he said, though he still didn't say that he had suggested going to him. He'd rather take the chastising than put James and Scorpius in the position of being the only ones who hadn't thought about it.
He looked at Allison. "My grandmother was a muggle too, and she was kidnapped the last time You-Know-Who was around." He looked at Cass. "Correct me if I get anything wrong," he said then turned back to Allison. "My grandfather got her eye with the post, much like James got your ear, and he was told that if he did what You-Know-Who wanted then she'd be left alive. He did, and they were both killed."
"So yeah, I should have known to contact someone with more experience than either of us have, but I'm still glad we saved you." He smiled at her.
"And a new room isn't a bad idea. It won't be kept quiet forever, but anything that makes it harder for him to find you is a good thing."
