"I didn't suggest you were, but these things can be hard to understand for the smartest of people. I will drop the subject you prefer. My intentions have never been to upset or offend you, which I feel I have. I'm sorry for that. I only to keep you safe, which I wish I could say you are here, but to be honest we simply don't have the manpower to keep you protected and spells and portkeys only go so far."
"However, you are, as you pointed out, a grown woman. I will not argue this with you further, though I doubt my son will drop the issue quite so readily. I'll leave that between the two of you."
He raised an eyebrow at her suggestion, then laughed. "I'm the head of the wizarding Police in the country. I'm not likely to cast illegal magic," he said with a smirk. "I'll do as you wish though, as soon as we're finished with the portkey." He cast the additional spells on the bracelet, then held it out for her to accept. "Just be careful not to talk about that particular location," he said. "You'll find yourself at Waterloo Station without intending to." And half a dozen Arors ready to fight Voldemort, but he didn't add that part.
Once the portkey was arranged, he pulled out his pocket watch from inside his robes. "Normally I'd step outside for this, but as I know you've already seen it once." He opened the locket, and called into the office. "Send Aurors Vaisey to St Mungo's," he ordered, closing the locket and turning back to her.
"Even wizards don't get to see that part," he admitted. "But I'm banking on you not telling anyone, especially since you've already seen Dylan do it once before. Speaking of the devil," he said hearing the door open and seeing Dylan and Cass step inside.
