"It's not fair on him, really. I mean I know he couldn't have grown up out of the limelight but from the little I've seen in the past few days," She gestured to the papers and magazines. "Your society is pretty isolated and insular because it's so small; they can only talk about so many people."
Allison wasn't convinced but she nodded. She could only hope that Harry didn't drop her in it; she wasn't sure James would be understanding and she didn't want him to stop visiting. She didn't get any visitors really and James brightened up her days and made her forget she could be dying.
She shook her head and smiled. "I'll be fine for tonight. I don't plan on leaving the bed so the hospital robe will be all right. I appreciate the offer though."
Allison nodded when Harry said he'd contact the right office, dropping the subject for the moment. She was more interested in what James had said to his father about her stubbornness. "He did," she said. "I'm not moving in. Somebody has to stay here to have tests run on them and you said yourself that the curse is progressing faster in me. I also have no way of going back and forth like you do and it's just easier if I stay here."
