"I know it was, I just ... it was my fault." It was stupid to think like that and Colin knew it, but he couldn't help it. He'd been the one to go back to the school; he could have stayed home with Dennis and his parents, he would have been safe there. He probably didn't do much during the time that he'd been fighting the end result would have likely been the same. Chris was right of course; he couldn't do anything to change what had happened. He couldn't fix anything by worrying about it. "Doesn't feel right to just move past it though, not when I can see the way it affected him."
"I do want to make the most of now though." He nodded decisively. "Which is why I am hoping he's not going to change his mind."
Colin stuck his tongue out when Chris insisted that Cormac had wrinkles in his forehead. "Yes well you do too when you frown." He told him. "He's much better looking when he smiles."
"Are they okay with you being gay now?" Colin wondered. His own parents had been brilliant about it when he'd told them, Dennis too for that matter. He didn't know what he would have done if his parents or Dennis had balked at the idea of him being gay.
