"I... yeah, yes he's single." Colin nodded, of course he was single, but the rest, well that much he wasn't completely sure about. "I don't know, I don't think so." And that was hard to think about, that Cormac hadn't had a real relationship in over twenty years? It didn't seem fair, and yet a small very selfish part of Colin couldn't help but feel hopeful that things would work out because of that. "I just don't want him changing his mind because he thinks I'm too young or something." Colin said with a sigh.
Colin couldn't help but smiling when Chris told him he was better than just an uncle. "Yeah, that's okay, that's brilliant." He'd been feeling something of the same since he'd met Chris, sure they were technically uncle and nephew but they were closer than that already it seemed even if they hadn't known each other that long - it was just easy to relate to Chris, easy to talk to him, more than anyone it seemed. He laughed. "Oh alright, you don't have to show me the dance, maybe I'll just ask Cormac about it sometime. Oh the Halloween Party?" Colin asked. "Patrick said I should sneak in for that too." Though he didn't know if it'd be worth it or not, maybe he'd talk to Cormac about that.
Nodding when Chris explained about Patrick, Colin listened as he spoke. "Mum always used to say it was best with the person you loved." Colin said, he'd always had the sneaking suspicion that his mother knew about him and Cormac, or at least suspected which was why she was often giving him advice and things, either that or she may have just wanted to hear him groan when she started up again.
"Why would I hex you for asking that?" Colin asked confused. It wasn't like it was a big secret or anything - course he hadn't really gotten a chance to tell anyone about what he and Cormac had gotten up to but that had more to do with the circumstances than anything else. "We did."
