Theo looked at her with surprise. "Did I not mention the threats?" he asked calmly, knowing that he had. "He certainly did not harm me. Yet."
"I didn't mention the nature of the threat because it's irrelevant. It can at most put a dent in my career, and even that I doubt. I am more worried about my children's safety."
He looked at her calmly wondering how much to tell her, though he was absolutely certain that Lucius and Narcissa had their own share of illegal items. There would be others as well. "There are some items that I acquired in my youth that are of a darker nature. The Dark Lord seems to have obtained a list of these, which lead me to suspect the seller of keeping a record. The seller was Mr Burke, and while he is dead someone has acquired whatever list he had and passed it onto the Dark Lord."
"As I said, fairly irrelevant. The items haven't been in my possession for the last few decades and can hardly damage me now, and the threat was hardly the reason for me to agree to deliver the letter. Gaining intelligence from the Dark Lord is far more important."
"No, I have no idea. The Dark Lord told me nothing about that."
