The staff did hide their childish natures well when Marcus was around, it’s something that Rebecca loathed because she had to deal with them when they decided to relive their youth. She scoffed loudly and laughed afterwards about her physically accosting them. “The reason they didn’t elaborate is because they’re embarrassed. I tugged them by the ear back to their stations to actually work and not gyrate up against the clients. I was the only one tending bar for a good half hour. Physically accosted....pfft, my arse”
She had her arms crossed and nodded knowingly about Thomas. “Well we couldn’t have that. If the place gets shut down then we’ll all be out of a job.” Taking up her quill, Rebecca thought this was a good time, she tapped it absently on her blotter and regarded Marcus knowingly. “Seeing as we’re short now... I met a very interesting young lady that night when I was such a brute to the poor little bruisable things. She’s an Auror, but she’s lost the taste for it.” Rebecca didn’t go into why. “She took down an unruly patron all on her own while the other guards were busy. I thought perhaps she would be a good fit here.” She flicked her quill again and smiled. “I could owl her if you’d like?”
