"I didn't have much of a choice," he answered, "and you were a lot more attractive than the alternative." He couldn't even begin to explain that he thought he was a dead man, not without explaining what he'd done, and it was too dangerous with the Dark Lord at large.
"It would have made dinner even more difficult." He rather liked being here, talking to Jake, even if some of the subjects were painful. "There are some changes that I'd like to make. I suppose no more hexing people, although that really was fun," he half-joked. He had enjoyed that part, at least until purebloods had been involved. "It's hard to let go, especially with the Dark Lord back again."
He nodded. "Thank you for the offer. I would appreciate it. Kreacher will need someone to help him as well." However, he didn't want to talk about Kreacher's death either.
Regulus took Jake's glass while keeping his eyes on the healer. He put it down next to his and then turned toward Jake. "You can jump me better this way." His hand rested on Jake's cheek as he pressed his body against Jake's so they could kiss.
He was snogging a twenty-nine year old man used to a lot more than a few kisses, and it scared him a little, but mostly he could feel the butterflies in his stomach and the tingling that started in his lips and moved all over his body. Yes, he definitely like kissing Jake.
