Regulus seemed to be rather tense, and Jake hoped the wine would loosen the wizard up a bit. He supposed that Regulus may have been nervous about this makeshift 'date', but Jake wasn't about to pounce on him. The thought made Jake grin as he poured the wine out.
He handed Regulus a glass while they stood in the kitchen.
"Well, this is dinner and talking and drinking good wine and champagne. Much more relaxed than what you have been used to in the past, and we can talk politics and current events if you would like. I'm not opposed to that," Jake said, smiling. "It isn't any different from when we had come back here after the opera."
Jake smiled wider, shaking his head. "No. I don't have much time to entertain guests. This is rather a treat for me," he admitted.
"Do you want to sit down on the couch and relax? We can have a cigarette if you'd like. I promise I'm not going to jump on you, Regulus," Jake told the other wizard, smirking before he took a sip of his wine.
