RP: Awake
Who: Jennifer Burke, NPC Wizard/Farmer
Where: Somewhere in England, farmer's cottage
When: October 8, 2024
Summary: Jennifer wakes up and is being held captive
She had been unconscious for nearly a week after falling into the farmer's trap and had been experiencing fever dreams from the infection that had been assaulting her body. Her arm and leg had been pierced with sharp, wooden stakes in the pit the farmer had dug for the wolf pack that had been attacking and killing his livestock. Jennifer had been unfortunate enough to be the one to have fallen into the trap, but lucky enough not to have been killed outright.
The farmer was actually a wizard, and had known what Jennifer was the moment he saw her naked and speared in his trap. He had been shocked to find her, but then grew angry. Filthy werewolf, sniffing around his property. Well, he'd do something about that in due time. Teach her a lesson.
He had retrieved Jennifer out of the trap, lifting her up with the magic from his wand and instead of taking her to St. Mungo's he kept her in his cottage and tended to her wounds himself. His son's old bedroom had been kept clean and the linens on the bed fresh, as if he had been waiting for his boy to come home. Though, that would never happen - not since that full moon so many years ago.
She had lost a lot of blood, and the wizard bound her wounds after applying healing potions to them. He only had the weakest of healing potions to use on the female werewolf, and even then he disliked wasting them on her. But, if he wanted her to heal enough for him to deal with her it was something necessary to use.
The woman had suffered infection in the wounds, and the wizard thought that she wouldn't live long enough anyhow for him to teach her the lesson she so richly deserved. But, as the day broke on the Thursday following the full moon so did Jennifer's fever and she woke, weak and covered in fever sweat.
She tried moving but the pain in her entire body prevented her from lifting her limbs and she whimpered out loud. Where was she? The last thing she remembered was lying down naked on the forest floor, waiting for the full moon to complete her transformation. Now, she was lying on her back in a bed, in an unknown room with the light of a window coming in sparse through the curtains.
Jennifer remembered some dreams - different wolves, and blood and running through a field. She also remembered her father, telling her how wrong she was being, that she should be ashamed. Then there had been Ronan with his wand pointed at her, and a flash of bright green light.
"Hello?" she croaked, lifting her head now that her vision became clearer. She was so weak, and her stomach rumbled as if she hadn't eaten in days. It was then, looking down at her body covered in a quilt, that she saw the ropes holding her down. Jennifer's eyes widened and she began to panic.
"Help! Someone, please!" she cried, her voice hoarse and Jennifer's tongue licked her fever blistered lips, trying to look for some moisture.
A man then came into the doorway, a wand in his hand and Jennifer exhaled in relief. "Please help me, I'm tied down," she begged the man.
"There isn't anyone to help you, you filthy werewolf," the farmer replied, his voice low and then he stepped into the room, blocking the light coming in from the window.
