"Thank god for that," she said with a small smile before it faded at her next words. "Baby- You never couldn't bring them out of your room; I've always thought of this flat as yours too. I'm barely here as it is and you could always warn me so I go have breakfast elsewhere and leave you to it."
She made a face at the mention of Marcus being nice. "I'm afraid we'll never agree on Marcus," she told him. "I just dislike him. Immensely," She sighed, pushing it aside. She was still angry but it wasn't at Patrick. She never had been able to stay cross at him for long. "I'm sorry about what I said earlier. I just panicked- I suppose I like to think the worst of Marcus."
