"Mmm I look forward to it," Atlas grinned, closing his eyes and drifting right off.
When he woke, he was alone in the bed, which immediately set him to worrying. Had she left while he was asleep? Where was she?
He quickly got out of bed and grabbed his sleep pants from the floor, slipping them on just in case. "Minerva?" he called, hobbling out into the main room. Then he sighed with relief when he spotted her by the stove, setting his tea kettle onto one of the burners.
"Oi," he said, limping over and wrapping his arms around her from behind. "Got a bit nervous," he murmured into her hair. "Not used to waking up alone when I fall asleep with someone."
