Colin was surprised when Chris seemed to know who he was talking about when he'd mentioned Cormac. "You know him?" He asked surprised, he wasn't sure if Dennis would have told Chris about he and Cormac or not - he didn't know how to feel about Cormac spending time with Chris, though he doubted very much that anything like that had happened.
He sighed when Chris told him it wasn't his to fix, "But I've done something, they wouldn't look at me the way they do if I hadn't." He protested, "I don't know how to talk to them now, they've had lives longer than I'd been alive before, and a thought suddenly occurred to him. If he was only 17 now what would happen as they all continued growing older? He'd have to watch the people he loved grow old and die while he was still living on?
He pulled back after a long moment. Chris was right though, he couldn't do all of this today or tomorrow even. And he couldn't do it all on his own - he'd drive himself mad trying to take it all on at once no matter how much he may have wanted to set everything to right that same day.
"Yeah." He said finally. "Yeah we will." They had to figure it out, because he wasn't going anywhere this time and they would all have to find a way to live together.
