"It's Patrick's birthday. I don't want to get it in the neck because somebody dared to tell you that you were wrong," he replied, watching the boy leave and quickly get absorbed into the crowd.
"That's because I'm never wrong," Azriel said with a grin, ignoring the sarcasm. "People just fail to see things the same way I do and therefore assume I'm wrong."
Azriel looked at the table before throwing his chips in and leaving the game for good. "Maybe they have a chance of winning now," he said with a small snort, ignoring the dirty looks he received from some of the other players. He picked up his glass of whiskey and slipped off of his chair, standing. "Where do you want to talk? Bar? Private table?"
