Neville nodded with a small smile. "It's in the nursery still, all of mine and Frankie's things are there... well, the things from when he was a baby that is." Noting his father was watching him closely, he felt like he was under scrutiny and gulped loudly until he found out why.
"Really? Gran never mentioned... she always said I looked like you." Maybe it was a sore spot for his grandmother, to see her husband in Neville.
He couldn't believe his father was apologizing, it confused him. "You don't have to Dad. There's time now, lots of time and you didn't know what was going to happen." He looked over at his mother now as well before he spoke again. "There is no way that I would be angry at either of you, not when I could be spending the time to get to know the both of you. It would be a waste, I couldn't be angry even if I wanted to be."
He smiled again and wondered if Frank had seen that smile before. "It's alright Dad, please don't worry. I was and always will be so proud to be your son."
