"Yes, because I don't think anyone's ever given you a chance, or maybe they have and you haven't let them," Minerva said softly, looking at Atlas as he stood up and filled a glass with water. "It doesn't have to be that way with me, Atlas. I could turn away with what I know about you. But, I don't think that's completely who you are either."
She turned in her seat to face him better.
"What is it that you're so afraid of? Atlas, talk to me. Registering isn't getting collared. I'll even go with you. You can't keep running away from being responsible."
