Minerva played with her fingers on top of the table, seeing that her nailpolish was chipped and making a mental note to fix that when she got home.
"Honestly, I had thought about it. I really didn't want to talk to you again at first. But...then I think that would just be reinforcing your feelings that you can't trust or rely on anyone," she told him, and then looked up with sad, brown eyes.
