"I suppose you're right about that." He grinned. "Though maybe I ought to hex you sometime, keep you on your toes - nothing serious of course, maybe one of those tickling jinxes - not exactly a hex though."
"I'm eating I'm eating." He assured her, filling his plate and taking a large bite just to prove his point. "Hmm you're right, I did make good pancakes. Always did love pancakes, one of my most favorite breakfast foods. Gran used to make pancakes with apples in them when I was younger, I'll have to make them for you sometime soon."
"I think most teenagers have trouble communicating well." He pointed out, He chuckled at the amount of thought his daughter had apparently put into this supposed compliment to her legs. "Yes well I don't think that particular skirt would be appropriate for school even if you were allowed to wear Muggle clothing." Michael and Allegra had very different opinions on the sort of clothing that was appropriate for their thirteen year old, Michael was just glad that Wren had to wear robes while she was at school.
"You can tell if a piece of art is attractive or not, can't you?" Michael asked, not that he particularly wanted to talk to his daughter about the practice of finding things attractive especially when such a skill would be applied to boys at some point.
