Without thinking, his hand snapped up and his fingers clamped around Ben's wrist before he could reach the tattoo. He softened the impact of his action with a smile, but he wasn't ready to let Ben touch him there.
"I'm sure our discussions had nothing to do with it," he answered, calmly, before letting go.
"Yes, with the werewolves," he answered. "They seem to be terribly inadequate with dealing with them. Whoever is in charge of the beast division, department or whatever you call it here should have told him all of this stuff. He didn't seem to have a practical idea of how to hunt them." He shrugged. "I gave him the information he asked, and he's sending more people to talk to me. He says that if my credentials check out, I could work for them."
