"I'm not flirting with anyone else," Ben said, frowning just slightly and pulling back. It wasn't that he was hurt that Ronan thought he would be; after all they hadn't settled anything yet and Ben wouldn't be doing anything wrong, but he didn't like the thought of Ronan thinking he was flirting. And that didn't make any sense, even to himself so he didn't say anything else, just let the statement speak for itself.
He noticed then that Ronan was slightly different tonight. His hair was pulled back, and he was dressed differently. Not better, because Ben loved how he normally dressed, but these clothes were definitely of higher quality. He looked...really fucking gorgeous and it was hard for Ben to keep his hands to himself.
"I like your hair." He reached out and played with the end of the tail, rubbing the coarse dread between his fingers. "I've never seen it pulled back." He reached up with the hand that had been on Ronan's chest and traced over Ronan's forehead and cheeks. "It lets me see your face better."
