Two tears spilled down her cheeks and over Atlas' hands when he cupped her face. Minerva had tried to pull back, but he was too quick for her and his eyes met hers and she was transfixed.
"How can I know you're telling me the truth? Atlas, tell me something I know is true."
She swallowed and then he was away from her again.
"How many have you killed? I need to know," she asked in a low voice.
