"You're not the only romantic," Harry admitted, looking down at his desk then glancing up. "I haven't given up yet, not entirely," he admitted. "I haven't exactly filed the divorce papers either," he said with a slightly sly grin. "Don't tell her that though."
Harry sighed. "I didn't mean-" He shook his head. "All I meant was that I don't think I'd get in trouble should it end up known, but you're right of course. I remember the last war only all too well. Mrs Malfoy helped me for one reason and one reason only, because she wanted her son back alive. I can't even blame her, I'd walk over anyone to protect my children. James already think I am," he added with a small smile.
"I'll be careful, Arthur. Right now the Minister is on our side. She's forced to, Voldemort won't forgive her betrayal and she's in danger too. I do remember enough to know that anyone can be pulled in and turned spy, however. I will not make the mistake of trusting too much." He smirked. "I never did, after all. How many things did we not keep even from you back then?"
