Neville listened to everything Hannah was saying, smiling through everything except thinking her feelings would be a burden on him. "No." he said "Nothing you could say would ever be a burden on me, no matter what job I had or didn't have."
He watched her smile and took her hand in his after it gently brushed against the side of his face. "I know... I, well I guess it doesn't help much that I'm oblivious at times." Neville never really thought of himself as attractive to anyone, he actually thought it was a miracle that he had gotten to marry Hannah way back then. He felt so lucky, even at that moment. Not many people got a second chance.
For a moment he pondered what, if anything, to tell their children. "Let's just wait, only for a little while. They're both so smart, they would guess something's going on if we wait too long so, just a little while." He shook his head afterward. "I still don't know why she thinks you're to blame for something we agreed on mutually." He sighed and played with a small lock of Hannah's hair. "Don't think it anymore, please?"
