Neville didn't like having to ask the Ministry for help so early in his term as Headmaster, but it was unavoidable if he wanted to keep the children safe. They'd have to endure the Auror presence and try to keep the kids' spirits until some kind of conclusion about what was going on is come to.
His heart sank a little at the mention of having to send the kids away for the nights and weekends, and he was expecting a huge stack of mail on his desk from the older families, as the Minister said.
"If it needs to be done... I'm sure we can find a few parents willing to volunteer extra space in their homes for those children who live too far away, or the muggle-born students who do not have a floo network to get them to school. I can also have Oliver Wood and Angelina Weasley amend the Quidditch practices so the students won't be out too late if they're feasible to continue."
