Harry was torn. On the one hand, as much as he hated agreeing with people like Nott and Mrs Malfoy on pure principle, as a father and the head of the Aurors he did agree. He knew what kind of restrictions had been in place when he was a student, and how utterly insufficient they had been to keep him from danger. He didn't want Lily getting any ideas, and he wanted her safe an protected.
On the other hand he hated seeing Neville interrupted, and threatened, and more or less treated like his opinion was irrelevant. He had a feeling that Dumbledore would never have been treated that way.
"I agree with Neville that matches can be an important morale booster," he said, because he wanted it stated for the record whose side he was on somehow. "I don't know how we could work it around the Aurors' schedules, and perhaps it will turn out to be impossible, but can we at least agree a goal of matches being reinstated as soon as it is realistically possible?"
