Neville couldn't believe that he could hardly get a word in edgewise...when he was asked for his opinion he was ready to give it but was summarily cut off.
He stood up and looked around the room. "We're not closing the school. I understand all these changes are necessary and I agree with most of them. The other professors as well as myself are already escorting the students to their classes and are on high alert even during the night." He sighed and looked around the room again, feeling weak and helpless even though he was Headmaster.
"Until we find out what has been causing this phenomena, I'll consent to the changes, but ask that some semblance of normalcy be kept in place. Taking away Quidditch games may harm morale in the school. I'd like to give the students something to look forward to and not looking over their shoulders every few minutes. I'm not refusing the Ministry's help..." he looked pointedly at the Minister, as she so insinuated the very fact before he was cut off. "I'm only asking that we don't make this situation any harder on the students than it has to be. So, whatever decision you make, in light of my suggestions, I will accept until this mystery has been solved and things can be changed for the good of the students, the school and everyone else involved... I do not wish to hinder the Aurors and take away from more pressing matters." He sat back down again, his brain still working and awaited what was sure to be a decision that may perhaps disregard any or all of his suggestions.
