Perfect! She was going to get what she wanted and put it on Theo and Potter. If this backfired, they would be the ones to pay for it, and if it didn't, then she was a revolutionary that could raise above tradition to protect the children.
"Astoria, we'll need the board to authorise these changes, but I think this is the best. We can have all classes held by year, with no house division. It should foster that unity people keep going on about. It's been a while since I've been in school, but we need to make arrangements for Herbology and Astronomy. Quidditch will need to be changed too. Keep practice once a week per house, suspend matches for now," she said.
Looking at Theo, she smiled. "As much as I'd like to put the children together, stopping death eaters from killing them and letting them kill each other seems rather pointless. As Mr. Potter pointed out, we don't have the resources to keep Aurors in every dormitory. We'd need twenty-eight just for that, plus four for the common rooms, and that's in addition of all the other ones. We simply don't have the people to keep the school safe." She stapled her fingers together. "Gentlemen, Astoria, we have to make the decision. We either close the school or we change the way it's run. The only other option is that Hogwart's refuses the ministry's help and risks the lives of all the children."
