Narcissa summoned the drawing, looking at it well. There was something familiar. The forehead perhaps, because it was quite distinctive. She closed her eyes, trying to think back to those times, and all the people who had invaded her house.
"Angus Birmingham," she said, returning the drawing. "I'm not certain, but I think that's him. I can show a copy to Lucius. He's not a murderer; he's a Death Eater. Didn't I read that he was screaming for his Master? It would make sense, and Birmingham died at Hogwart's."
She just confirmed her own worse fears. "In other words, we have some kind of spell that allows dead people of all sorts to appear anywhere inside the school, and we don't know why, how, who or from when, which is unacceptable." She looked at everyone in turn. "Mr. Nott has presented a plan that would let his department study the problem, while the Aurors deal with security. However, I'm been in charge long enough to know that when jobs are divided and things go wrong, it's easy to push the blame to someone else."
She turned to Theo. "You wanted this; you got it. You're fully responsible for Hogwarts. Mr. Potter and Mr. Ollerton will provide men to help the unspeakable, but you're in charge. Mr. Potter, you will deal with the werewolves problem. Mr. Ollerton, I fear you will have to take on the responsibilities of the Aurors as well for the time being. Now, what do we do with the school? In the past, we've been rather cavalier with the lives of the students, but Dumbledore is gone and I found his affection for the school to be superious to his affection for the children, so hopefully we can make other choices."
