"If you count being dead for the past forty-five years as being 'a while' then yeah," Jake said, looking at the man who spoke with irritation. "Just a little."
Taking up the parchment clipped to a wooden board by Regulus' bed, Jake wrote something hastily down. "I will 'patch' him up as best as I can, but for now if you gentleman would please step outside so I can continue running some tests. As soon as he is strong enough to answer your questions, I will summon you."
Jake's voice was low and held that he was not to be argued with. He didn't like his rooms to be bogged down with Ministry monkeys.
But then Regulus had awoken before Jake could shoo the men out and he sighed.
"Of course. Regulus. Gentlemen if you could give me a moment with my patient and then what questions you have for him he can answer. I have some of my own concerning his condition," Jake said, waiting for the men to exit. "You can wait right outside this door. He won't be going anywhere."
