And this was precisely why he disliked meetings with the Minister. She was a bitch on her good days. Never mind that the single reason she and her son was not in Azkaban was because of him.
He glanced down as he sat, forcing himself to keep a straight face. Thankfully growing up had done a great deal for learning not to react without thinking.
"Right now we are still investigating the matter," Harry answered. "No one saw the man enter, possibly with the exception of Edward Davies, so how he entered is still a mystery. We've gone over the spells protecting the school and they're all intact and as far as the experts can tell no one has even tried to tampered with them. The man was no where near the room of requirements, the passageways are an option, and are being guarded more heavily than before as we speak."
He paused and breathed before he went on. "Most likely this was a one time attack by a mad man, but as we do not know, an Auror has been stationed at Hogwarts around the clock. Students are being confined to their common rooms between classes and teachers and prefects are to escort them in groups between lessons." He thought back to his own school days, to when those methods had been tried on him. Then again, he had the invisibility cloak and the Marauders map safely stored in his house, none of the children had access to those this time.
"We've examined the boy's body, and taken some saliva that we believe is the murderer's, we're comparing it to known criminals and insane men as we speak but so far we have no match."
"As for the werewolves, I was going to have a meeting with Ms Brown myself today regarding that very thing. I want to create a task force under the Auror office that works solely with locating and capturing this group, consisting of not only Aurors, but Hit-wizards and people from the Department of Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. I believe we'll have a larger chance of catching them if we work together."
