The shop was getting better with each other. It wasn't spotless, or even usable just yet, but it was so much better than the first day they had seen it. The smell of dust was still lingering, but it wasn't as powerful as it used to be.
Ronan found that he liked it here. It was quiet, and no one bothered him. Jennifer would be around and work hard, but she didn't pester him, which was fine by him.
The nights were quiet too. She usually left him to his own devises, but when she came him, he smiled at her. "It's fine. The smell of mildew has gone." He didn't mention that the magic had been more useful than detergent with that one. "It's late, shouldn't you be getting home?"
