SUMMARY: Gertrude messes some girl up for messing with her big bro. >:[
NOTES: Monday after this.
It hadn't taken Gert long to get the offending female's identity from Victor. After a few minutes of grilling, or you know threatening that she'd expose his greatest fear to the world, he collapsed like a house of cards in a wind storm.
The girl actually had the audacity to show up to school, not that she had a choice. That never occurred to Gert. What did occur to her was that she was talking with her friends and giggling like she hadn't just crushed some guy's whole world. While she herself wasn't much for dating Teddy, he was a good guy. He was a really good guy, and if she didn't want to go out with him, she should have at least been honest. She could understand that it was like, having guys flock to her for attention, but she at least let them know.
Sometimes she let them know in a way that crushed all their hopes and dreams, but she didn't leave them waiting for FOUR HOURS.
It was unforgivable. And how embarrassing must it have been for him. He'd dressed up all nice and waited. Gert was just not going to let that fly.
At all.
Ever.
"Excuse me," she said from behind the upperclassman. The girl turned around and looked at her confused for a moment, before turning her attention back to her friends like she didn't exist. Gert would have probably calmed down if the girl had been nice, but she was obviously quite rude.
She jabbed her finger into the girl's shoulder. "I said. Excuse me."
The girl turned around and glared at her. "Rude, much."
"Rude. You want to talk about ..." Gert took a breath. "You want to talk about rude." Her tone went ridiculously polite, collected and calm as her eyebrows shot up, making her look pretentious. She was obviously judging and looked like she was talking to an idiot in the middle of the hallway. Her friends grouped up behind her. They knew exactly what was about to go down. "Let me tell you what rude is. Girl.
"Rude, is saying you'll be somewhere and not showing up. Rude is not being truthful and leaving a really nice guy high and dry. Rude is," she couldn't even finish the sentence. She just gestured at the older girl's everything. "You are nothing. You are trash. You. Girl. Is a bitch." She touched her thumb to her forefinger and dipped her hand on bitch as if to punctuate the end of her sentence.
"Who do you think you're talking to?" the girl started, finally taking Gertrude's presence seriously.
"Who do I think I am talking to? A rude bitch who has no regard for people's feelings. Someone who thinks she's worth shit. Well, let me tell you something. You don't get to treat people the way you do and get away with it."
"Please," the girl said rolling her eyes. She looked over her shoulder, completely ignoring the fact that there was a threat not but three feet in front of her. When she turned back around, she got clocked, right in the face.
Gert was not a fighter, but you did not disrespect her and you did not hurt her family. Teddy was like a brother to her, and she was having none of that. The girl's friends backed up, while Gert climbed on top of her and just kept punching. Even as the teacher's pried her off, she got in a good kick to the girl's face. "WHO DID YOU THINK YOU WERE TALKING TO? HUH? WHAT NOW, BITCH?! WHAT?!"
