Carah glanced in the direction that Mia had pointed and didn't say anything in response. She had been listening for something bigger, necessarily, not a couple "lunks." Regardless, she'd missed it and there was no point in dwelling on it. Mia said she was going to do whatever, but it felt weird hearing her dismiss Batman and Robin so easily. It sounded like she was annoyed, but Carah wasn't going to prod it.
"Just because he walks away doesn't mean that you should stop," Carah shrugged, "You might enjoy doing it on your own more. But I went from Speedy to something else, so it's different. Not the same." She went from sidekick to doing things on her own. She'd never really had a partner in it, she'd just followed Connor around for a few years. Sure, there were the Teen Titans, but that was a team. Mia always had Roy.
"I know I'm not Roy, and I missed a couple of people, but we can go kick a little ass tonight if you want," she offered, not wanting to just tell Mia good luck and then let her be on her way. Carah didn't mind working with other people and she was family. All the more reason to go with her.
