Summary: Ron is on a dare.


Ron hadn't thought that a chat with his nephew might lead to this. Al had been a wonderful listener up to a point, because he hadn't really cared, but then he'd stopped caring even more and looked up at him, saying 'Go hug Sirius, you haven't tried hugging him yet.'

Ron wondered why he should, and when he asked Al that, Al had said. 'You should conduct an experiment just in case. Next time before breaking his nose, hug and welcome him to the family.'

Ron wasn't sure what else Al had said because his eyes had gone glassy, but he did remember shouting 'I'm not cowardly', storming out. And that was how he found himself searching for Black, spying on him for the best time, and then when he showed a moment of unawareness, glomped him from behind.
